Most VULCAN heated Clothing comes with a battery and charger. (Unless the item is an non battery item ) We also have replacement batteries available in battery section or message on contact form.

Please note that for orders shipped outside the United Kingdom you will need to get an adapter to fit UK 3 pin charging plug

All Vulcan clothing is designed to target the vital internal organs from the rear to keep them warm and avoid the brain forcing blood away from hands and feet so we do not need to waste battery power having heat in pockets like the cheap chinese brands.

Of course! Vulcan heated clothing is made for indoor and outdoor activities in a cold climate. For most outdoor adventures

All Vulcan heated clothing is machine washable ideally in laundry mesh bag, but for longer longevity we recommend hand washing. 

Please read the provided instructions before washing.

Tips:

1.Disconnect and remove the battery from the zipper pocket.

2.Make sure you put the connector cable back and close the zipper pocket.

3.Place your Vulcan item inside a mesh laundry bag.

4.Machine-wash it. (No dry cleaning/Cold and gentle cycle/Do not bleach)

5.Line dry. (Do not wring or twist/Do not iron/Do not tumble dry)

All clothing is not fire retardant.

We do not recommend using the battery for heating while charging at the same time.

Your Vulcan heated clothing, battery & charging kit will be carefully packed into our Vulcan cube bag. The cube bag is  for storage, travel.

 

Body size means the measurement of your body parts, while clothing size means the measurement of the apparel. We recommend using the size guide link on website

The heating level (these are heat produced inside clothing) can be adjusted by pressing the power button. Each press will cycle through the apparel’s temperature settings.

High (Red): 55°C/131°F

Medium (White): 45°C/113°F

Low (Blue): 38°C/100°F

*Tested at a room temperature of 25°C/77°F.

 

Yes, it will still work well. However, if you’re going to spend a lot of time in sub-zero temperatures, we recommend you purchase a spare battery so you don’t run out of heat! 

Sure, you can wear it on the plane. All VULCAN heated apparel is TSA-friendly. All VULCAN batteries are lithium batteries and you must keep them in your carry-on luggage.

Nope. VULCAN batteries are specifically designed and made for VULCAN heated Clothing. We recommend you use the original VULCAN battery only. VULCAN battery is UL-certified. If you need additional batteries, you can find them here. 

Apparel defects caused by batteries from other brands will not be covered by warranty.

Yes,  touch-screen compatible thumb and index fingers. You can still use your phone without taking off the gloves.

Heating elements are made of Graphene/carbon fiber to deliver heat across the garment. Heating elements are placed in different areas for different styles, you will feel the cosy warmth.

All new VULCAN products come with a year warranty. but if you have any issues please email as good customer service is important to us.

The Mini 5K Battery has a capacity of  5000mAh, which delivers performance equal to market-leading 10,000mah @3.7V with higher efficiency and power output up to 7.4V. A fully-charged battery will last 3 hours on high, 4 hours on medium, or 6 hrs on low. Battery Grande as double the capacity so double the above figures (The working hours vary with clothing styles. Please refer to the exact runtime given on the product page).

All VULCAN batteries are TSA-friendly. Please remember that, like laptops and camera batteries, all VULCAN batteries are lithium-ion batteries and must be carried within your carry-on luggage per the Federal Aviation Administration's Pack Safe for Passengers policy.

The battery goes inside the inner battery pocket on the lower left side of the Jackets,Gilets, Baselayers. In pockets of performance pants, In pouch of gloves and Socks 

The USB Type-C port is used to charge the battery. The regular USB port is used to connect a charging cable for your phone or other handheld devices. The circular DC port is plugged into the apparel to provide power for heating.

To ensure safe use and warranty concerns, we do not suggest you use batteries from other companies on VULCAN heated clothing. If you need a backup battery, please buy one from VULCAN.

Yes. All versions of the VULCAN apparel batteries (Mini 5K battery or GRANDE 10k battery) work with all styles of our heated clothing.

The 2200mah battery works with our heated gloves, mittens, and wirekess 2600mah for socks.

Here are some tips for storing batteries:

1. The battery should not be stored uncharged for a long period of time. A recharge is necessary every 2-3 months, at the latest.

2. For best storage, the battery storage is with 40% to 50% capacity and at low temperatures, which should not drop below 0°C. Storage at 5°C to 10°C is optimal.

3. Because of self-discharge, please disconnect and remove the battery from the zipper pocket.

Check your local ordinance and follow their guidelines, but usually you can send it to a recycling center.

Yes if your car has usb socket . you can use charger adapter to charge the battery from your car.

Yes, you can. The USB port on the battery can be used to charge your phone or other electronic devices while the DC port is used to power the heating at the same time. Just remember you will have less heat time with clothing so bare that in mind!

Just like your cellphone, laptop, and most other devices, all VULCAN batteries use lithium-ion technology to provide a safe power experience. Our battery has been certified by the UKCA,  FCC, UL & CE to guarantee safe performance for daily use. 

Yes you can. The USB port on the battery can be used to charge your phone and other electronic devices.

An empty battery will take roughly 8 hours to fully charge, fully charge with a 5V3A charger. There are 4 LED lights on the battery which show the current power level. When all 4 lights on the battery turn solid white/blue the battery is fully charged. Sock & glove batteries same above . I recommend to charge overnight .

Our VULCAN battery is specially designed for VULCAN heating garments. If you have clothes from another brand, please check with their seller and confirm if your clothes can use the other brand's battery.
